  • Watching: SOUL EATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES WAY! DUUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That stuff is FUN!!!!! Our first game was Friday, and It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!! And I HATE football with a PASSION! I had no idea what was going on, just that 1) we WON, against a team we've NEVER beat, 2) It was FUN!, 3) The opposing team's marching band forgot to put the "marching" in "band", and 4) The Section leaders, drum majors, and the band leader from BOTH teams went to go play "round, round my baby" just because they COULD. Now, what I don't know is why it was so fun, 1)My feet and back were KILLING ME, 2)The Marching shoes are hard and flat, and not supportive at all! >.< 3)I messed up in the middle of Birdland, and Was off for half of Green Onions, and 4) My hat didn't fit right and almost fell off. But Some way, some how, I had FUN. And again, I don't know WHY!!!!!

Sorry, i couldn't help but reading your journal... I was in marching band all throughout high school and i miss it dearly now that i'm in college... What school do you go to? I wonder if you'll have a competition with my old high school...

lol oh my god... that reminds me.. my first year of marching band it rained the whole time we were at band camp, we were literally sinking into the field and losing shoes because the mud would suck them up. it was horrible... What instrument do you play btw?

I play the flute, and Our field wasn't that bad that day, but it was slippery, and I kept twisting my ankle the wrong way, and then I had to run, and I'm still in pain, and I'm now getting sick.

Aww, you play the flute!!! I do too! Well i DID haha. Your band competes right? (cuz i've heard that some don't) If your band DOES compete, Your first competition in gonna be even more hype than that football game. Youre gonna feel it as soon as you march onto the field...

XD You have fun, because you got caught up in the excitement of the game and by that I mean the over all of it, not just the people playing, but the music, the fans, all of that.

I guess, But that Night I had a Paradigm Shift. I was going to quit marching band after that game, Now, I don't get why I would!
